What Do Rumors Say About the Galaxy S25 Edge?

If the Galaxy S25 Edge is indeed the device previously known as the Galaxy S25 Slim, we already have a good idea of what to expect, thanks to the numerous rumors circulating over the past few months.

First, its thickness is expected to be around 6.5mm. While this is much thinner than the current generation (which ranges between 7.3mm and 8.2mm), it would not be Samsung’s thinnest smartphone ever. The Galaxy A8 (2016) was 5.9mm thick, and the Galaxy A7 (2015) was 6.3mm.

Still, achieving 6.5mm thickness today would be a significant advancement, especially considering that camera sensors have grown much larger in recent years. This makes it a substantial challenge to build such a thin phone while retaining the advanced technology of a flagship device.
